MyRoo Tube Shirt for Skin-to-Skin Contact - Description
MyRoo Tube is a shirt for Kangaroo Care, the practice of holding an infant bare chest to bare chest with their mother or other caregiver (aka. Skin-to-Skin Contact).
MyRoo Tube is seamless and simple to use without the need for buttons, buckles, zippers, Velcro, or ties. This intuitive design lets mother simply slip the garment on – just like a tube-top – and place baby inside.
MyRoo Tube is light weight and breathable, so mother does not get hot and sweaty while skin-to-skin. The baby is visible and easily accessible.
The fabric is flexible enough to allow relaxation without pressure points to either mother or baby and strong enough to help keep baby securely fixed to mother.
MyRoo Tube is simple to slip on and off for quick access to baby. While baby is properly positioned in Kangaroo Care and reclined, mother has her hands-free to snack, drink, read, or just relax while still being skin-to-skin with her baby.
For added comfort, MyRoo Tube can also be worn with a shirt that opens in the front or a blanket.
Anyone can wear MyRoo Tube! It is designed for use by women and men. Two sizes are available, fitting S – 3XL. Use MyRoo Tube in Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, the NICU, and at home!
